On May 29th, Footage Foundation's Executive Director and Co-Founder Kristen Ali Eglinton and youth Communications and Social Media Intern Zoe Smolen were at the UN! They specifically attended the High-Level Event of the General Assembly marking the 20th Anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth to highlight Youth Priorities in the Post-2015 Development Agenda. All member states of the United Nations were asked to give a short intervention addressing the General Assembly on implementation of the World Programme of Action for Youth and National Youth policies. The afternoon included two panel discussions. Footage was there engaging on social media, advocating for #YouthNow and #YouthVoice, and being part of the action. We even got a photo with United Nations Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth, Ahmad Alhendawi @UNYouthEnvoy. You can look closer at his incredible work here: http://www.un.org/youthenvoy.
